Pinch Provisions - Mini Emergency Kit

by 18.11.16

What is it with minis that always gets me excited? They are just so darn cute! I love minis for traveling and my latest obsession is everything holographic. The new album, The Holographic Principle, sparked the holosexuality in me. I got to experiment more with make up and slowly the admiration for all the colors of the rainbow got to me.

At this moment, I am touring with Epica through North America. We are about to go to sunny California! I am so excited. One extra reason is that I get to see my great uncle again. We always make a tradition that whenever I am San Fran, we go out to dinner together.

You know me well enough that I already have set foot in a couple of Sephoras and even one Ulta. They are my favorite make up stores. Playing with make up. Swatching until my white jacket turns blue/red/orange... need to bring that to the dry cleaner soon.

The worst aisle is the last that you are standing in when you go to the check out. All the cute minis that lead you into temptation. I caved in.

Amongst some other gems, I got this Mini Emergency Kit from Pinch Provisions. I have one in pink at home that was waiting to be reviewed. When I saw this holographic bag, I was hypnotized.
What is so cool about this is, is that this tiny bag contains 17 essentials for a gal's tiny troubles. I tell you that one item that is not on the picture, already saved my ass today. I let you do the guessing which that is.

So what is in the bag?
  • Adhesive bandage
  • Lip balm
  • Stain remover
  • Clear nail polish
  • Safety pin
  • Breath freshener
  • Earrings backs
  • Double-sided tape
  • Deodorant towelette
  • Nail polish remover
  • Clear elastics
  • Emery board
  • Tampon
  • Mending kit
  • Dental floss
  • Bobby pins
  • Hairspray

I have already tried the lip balm and breath drops. The lip balm has a push up system. The balm is tiny, but the product inside is as large as its container. It tastes like my favorite Starbust flavor, cherry.

The clear elastics and earrings backs are wrapped in the mending kit. I was searching for them for a while. I thought that maybe they weren't included. Not that I need earrings backs. I don't wear earrings since 10 years.

This is such a great concept that Pinch Provisions came up with. They have many varieties of this concept. Like for a festival, wedding you name it!

The price point is around $18. Great value for money. Only little tip for improvement from my side; It would be great if they were to sell refills. You can of course buy a new bag, but some items you will run out quicker than others, for example the towelettes.

After mine is empty, I will probably use this bag for my lipsticks. As I am a 'handbaglipstickhoarder' (Great word for hangman).
