These Christmas cookies were a huge hit with my boys! They are from Emmas Goodies. You can find the link here: YouTube

All I did differently was that I've added some extra salted peanuts on top of the chocolate. Like this they tasted even more like Snickers :) Snowball Snicker Cookies.

These are already the second batch that I made. They turned out more photogenic than the first batch haha! They are not really a sight for soar eyes, but they are delicious! You do need a little patience when you make these. After you've made the dough and shaped them into little balls, you have to place the freezer for 2 hours!

Best start early in the morning, so you can enjoy them during tea/coffee time in the afternoon :)

Did you guys bake any holiday cookies this season?

I want to wish you happy holiday and a easy transition into the new year! 2022 sounds like a good year to me!

It is no secret that some of my favourite eyeshadows are from Natasha Denona. Her eyeshadows are top notch quality. You pay quite a sum of money, but it is worth the cash. I have a collection of her eyeshadow palettes. Some of my favourites are the mini eyeshadow palettes. They are affordable and great for travelling! I have the mini star, the mini nude and the mini sunset

I have discovered a great dupe for her mini palettes! I came across the Catrice makeup counter and saw that they have almost identical dupes for €5. A Natasha Denona mini palette costs €25...

Natasha Denona 'Mini Nude'

Catrice 'Warm Spice Look'

The quality is ok for the price. You can see my awesome swatches that the Catrice '5 in a box' have less color pay off. I have created a makeup look with the Catrice palette, and I must say that the pay off is good enough. I mean €5 is a bargain. You can buy 5 of these palettes instead of 1 Natasha Denona.

You can get Natasha Denona at Sephora and Catrice at any local drugstore. On Karins website, you can see more swatches of the other palettes. Innen Aussen

Have you tried any of the Catrice mini eyeshadow palettes? Or Natasha Denona? If you want to get the ND palettes, I recommend that you wait when it is Glamour Shopping Week in Germany/Austria/Switzerland. You can save 20% ;)

New Years Resolution is to have a no buy eyeshadow palette haha! Let's see if I can stick myself to that.
Are there any products that you always tell yourself to not buy anymore?

I guess the beauty junkie in me always wins ;)

Long time no see! Had 10 minutes to do a quick photoshoot before we went trick or treating. Something that is not so common in Germany, but Vincent managed to get some sweets :)

Did you guys celebrate Halloween?

The dress that I am wearing is already a couple of years old. I almost threw it out! Can you believe that? I am glad that I didn't do it. When the autumn leaves are at their richest, this is the perfect camouflage outfit :)

The lipstick is from my friend LH Cosmetics: Velvet Couture

If you want to see more photos of this photoshoot, you can ;) On my Patreon !!! I hope to see you there as well.

Have an amazing weekend!

As promised, here is a list of the make up products that I used to create the Sally makeup for my premiere video on my Patreon

It was so much fun to create his makeup, but I did it in 15 Minutes and decided to change my outfit last minute. Jens and I filmed in my studio and took a couple of takes of me singing the song and then some UV close ups.

The Makeup Process:

I started by applying a foundation that was a couple of shades lighter than my normal shade. I packed on two layers to make sure that I would get the amount of coverage that I like. I contoured my cheekbones a bit and didn't use any blush.

For the eyes I rediscovered an old favourite eyeshadow palette from Limecrime and fell in love with it all over again! I lined my eyes with a black liner and then a liner on top with the UV makeup. Some lashes, I think they are from Ardell. I love to use lashes that don't have a thick band. They are the most comfortable to wear.

The stitches I created with a black liner and then 'double lined' them with the UV makeup. For the lips, I used a liquid lipstick and topped it with the UV makeup. I bought a UV lamp, especially for this shoot along with the UV makeup.

Natsasha Denona Foundation X 5N Fair

Kat von D Shade and Light to contour

Linda Hallberg Cosmetics loose powder 'Light'

L'Oréal Paris Liner Perfect Slim

Kryolan Aqua Color NEO Palette

Lime Crime Venus Palette I (rebirth & muse)

Urban Decay Moondust Palette (element)

Jeffree Star Redrum Liquid Lipstick

Hope you had an awesome Halloween!

Who doesn't love the DM drugstores in Germany? You go in to be tampons, and you come out with a bag filled with everything but tampons, because you forgot to buy tampons and everything else.....

Yes, that is me! I took Elize to Stuttgart yesterday and she suggested going to a DM. I promise I didn't force her inside a DM, she wanted to get some goodies and I didn't leave the store empty handed, as you can see.

I bought some staples and some new stuff that I would love to try.
All of my Tangle Teezers are falling apart and can't handle my mane at the moment, so I thought it was time to get back to getting an old-fashioned hair brush. I need a heavy duty hair brush and I got this one for Oliver a while back, so I had to get one for myself as well ;)

Currently, I have been loving the Schaebens Koffein Power Eye Pads! I tried all of them, and these are my favourites. They also look really cool. I suprised the mail main a couple of times, wearing these haha!

Do you see anything that you would like to buy? Do you like Haul posts?

What could be in the bag? Can you guess some of the products or brands?

For the longest time, I wanted to try out the KVD Beauty Dazzle Sticks... I have seen them all over the internet and after Nikki Wolf used one of the Dazzle Sticks ( I think she used Flash Storm), I became even more interested in them.... Guess that wait is over! I finally got my hands on the shade 'Hail Surge'. Out of all the colours, this was the one that appealed to me the most. I knew I would get a lot of use from, because it is a shade that I love to wear;

KVD Beauty is not in the hands of Kat von D anymore, and it took me a while to remember the brand has a different name. The Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in the shade Outlaw, still has the old name on it.
I always like to take a red lipstick with me when I travel, so a mini version made perfect sense in case I would crave a red lip that doesn't transfer to the face mask. It is a gorgeous Rubin Red that is a universally flattering shade. It is super light weight and comfortable on the lips. Below is a photo me wearing 'Outlaw'. I have owned many shades of the KVD Everlasting liquid lipsticks. One of my all time favourite shades is 'Vampira'. I have worn that shade many times during Epica shows.

My trusty Tarte Shape Tape concealer was empty, so I hagd to get a new one. It is still, despite of the squirting, my favourite concealer. Great coverage, perfect color and long wearing on oily skin.

The last item that I got was a lip balm from Laneige. I discovered Laneige when I was in Japan. I love the lip sleeping mask in all flavours/scents. This lip glowy balm has a slight color to it, but I almost can't see it on my lips. I like to use it as a lip topper. I don't use it at night, because it would stain all over my pillow ;)

In a coupe of weeks the Glamour Shopping Week is back in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The last couple of years, Sephora has always offered a 20% discount. I already have some items in my shopping card, ready to get during GSW :)

Do you have any beauty products on your Wishlist?

Oops, I did it again. My heart started to beat a little faster after seeing so many people wearing 'Moonstone' from Bobbi Brown.....

I don't own any Bobbi Brown eyeshadows, with the exception of some long wear cream shadow sticks.
One of the deals that I made with myself is to not buy any more eyeshadows.... You can guess how that went haha. Once a beauty junkie, always beauty junkie.

There is beauty in the number three... So I got three eyeshadow colours.... Actually, I got two but was gifted a third one.

Aren't they gorgeous? The formula, the sparkle the packaging..... They even come with a little mirror on the inside. The packaging looks like a gold bar.

I swatched these babies for you in direct sunlight and shadow. In my recent Reel, I am wearing Moonstone on my lids. There is a little fallout when you apply these. I would recommend to wet the brush a bit with a setting spray for more intensity and longevity.

Price: €40,00
