Maleficent is out and Angelina is everywhere. I personally love her and love her current make up look. She never goes for strong colors, only for a red lip every once in a while. Her look is simple and natural. I gave it a go and used only matt eyeshadows on the eyes and packed on the bronzer. I threw my hair in jumbo hot rollers and finished them off with some hair spray.

Products used:
  • Paula's Choice 'The Nude Mattes' Eyeshadow Palette
  • Manhattan Endless Stay Make Up in Porcelain
  • Laura Mercier Dune Bronzer
  • MAC Coffee Eye Pencil
  • Nyx Lip Pencil Soft Brown
  • Astor Lip Butter in 'Loved Up'
  • Illamasqua Lover Blush
  • Maybelline 'The Rocket' Waterproof Mascara

Did any of you guys see 'Maleficent' already? I haven't, but check these out! I found these on some of my Facebook Fan Pages. I love them!

In black and white I look like a brunette ;)

Tim Burton has been my favorite director of all time. When I introduced the 'Movie Make Up' series, I knew I had to include a Tim Burton Look. There were so many to chose from, a lot of colorful ones. Since you mostly see me in colorful make ups, I decided to go dark and picked Victoria Winters during her final scene of TB's remake of 'Dark Shadows'.

It is super easy and a lot of fun to do! Once again you don't need many products. This look consists out of a super pale foundation (I picked KRYOLAN's Body Foundation in Ivory for the neck and face), black eyeshadow, black eyeliner and Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream on the eyes. Throw some water in your hair and pick a dark lipstick of your choice. Et voila!

Hope you enjoy the Dark Smoon.

Hi Guys,

This Movie Star Make Up is my remake of the beautiful Dame Elizabeth Taylor as Cleopatra. I love Egypt, it's rich culture, it's history and the pharaoh's. Cleopatra is an iconic beauty that needed to be in my MSMU Edition.

For this look I used a lot of black and blue eyeliner. It took a lot of time to get off. A lot of cotton pads have voluntarily sacrificed themselves for Cleopatra. I used KRYOLAN's Body Foundation in Ivory and eyelashes Stargirl S5. On the lips I am wearing MAC summerfruit lip liner and Freckletone lipstick.

The last MSMU will be a Tim Burton look, still not sure about which look. Please let me know in the comments which one you would like me to do. Thanks!

How do you like the Zara necklace on top of my head? Haha! Hope you like it!

XO,
Cleo Simons

Hi Guys,

The next Movie Star Look is from Rooney Mara as Lisbeth Salander in the remake of the 'Girl with the Dragon Tattoo'. I thought Rooney was beautiful without the eyebrows and crazy hair.

This is how I look like with almost no eyebrows and black hair. It completely changes the face when you leave the eyebrows out. For this look you only need a super pale foundation, some black liner, mascara and lots of concealer to hide those eyebrows. You can completely erase your eyebrows with a glue stick, but I didn't have any handy when I did this shoot with HEILEMANIA a while back. If you are interested in how to hide your eyebrows, you can find many tutorials on YouTube.

The top, which I am wearing backwards, is from Rouge et Noir. Picture by Stefan Heileman from HEILEMANIA.

XO,
Simone Salander

Hi Sweets,

Thanks for your input regarding the movie star looks! The first one will be the beautiful Satine from 'Moulin Rouge'. Nicole Kidman is so incredibly beautiful in this movie. In my opinion, the auburn hair looks best on her.

The key products for this look are black eyeshadow, white/light beige eyeshadow, a pale foundation, a hint of red rouge and a red lip. The key is to blend the black eyeshadow on top of the beige eyeshadow. The hard edges and can be blended by the beige eyeshadow. Apply the beige eyeshadow at the inner corner of the eye again in the end and apply false eyelashes if you like.

Eyelashes TV6 and red lipstick LF 102 are from KRYOLAN.

Love,
Satine Simons

Hi Sweets,

When I was cleaning up my magazine stash, I stumbled upon a wonderful make up look from Amber Heard. She is absolutely gorgeous!

Below you can find my version of her look. I don't look anything like her, I have a different eye shape, but tried my best to come as close as I could to her make up. There was no information about the products that were used on her, so I recreated it by eye with the products I own. All you need for this look are:

  • A black eyeliner
  • Eyeshadows in the color; black, brown, a shiny champagne colored eyeshadows
  • Warm nude lipstick with a glossy finish
  • Peachy blush
  • Your favorite mascara and eyebrow products

I didn't even contour my face, since my cheekbones protrude.

Rum Kisses,
