Movie Star Make Up #1 - Moulin Rouge -

by 5.6.13

Hi Sweets,

Thanks for your input regarding the movie star looks! The first one will be the beautiful Satine from 'Moulin Rouge'. Nicole Kidman is so incredibly beautiful in this movie. In my opinion, the auburn hair looks best on her.

The key products for this look are black eyeshadow, white/light beige eyeshadow, a pale foundation, a hint of red rouge and a red lip. The key is to blend the black eyeshadow on top of the beige eyeshadow. The hard edges and can be blended by the beige eyeshadow. Apply the beige eyeshadow at the inner corner of the eye again in the end and apply false eyelashes if you like.

Eyelashes TV6 and red lipstick LF 102 are from KRYOLAN.

Love,
Satine Simons

  1. I also think auburn hair looks best on her ! That woman is wonderful.

Sometimes Black/white doesn't highlight brown eyes at all, so I usually use brown or gold eyeshadows instead. But here I think it would be very nice.

  9. I like that you don't conform to the expected metalhead stereotypes that others would expect you to do. I remember ages ago lots of trolls on your facebook page were disrespecting you for doing posts like this. I'm glad that negativity has not stopped you from experimenting with makeup & fashion. Please never change.

I like your hair. It reminds me of the hair video you done on Smooonstyle-YT, very nice indeed. & that top & necklace is awesome, sadly you would freeze to death if you wore something like that here. Such nice eyes you have Simone, like two highly polished sapphires. The dark long lashes makes them stand out more, like a nice picture frame.

  15. Lovely makeup. I love that film...
What about some "fantasia" makeup? I've seen you made a "Sally makeup" (I think), so maybe it would be funny some Tim Burtons Makeup.
Even if is a "Boy makeup" a girly version of Jonny Deep at "Dark Shadows" could fit amazing http://www.examiner.com/review/review-tim-burton-s-dark-shadows-is-a-yawn-inducing-mishmash-of-genres

Also, another interesting makeup is the Red queen: http://scarsmagazine.com/blog/2009/06/26/415/
