What could be in the bag? Can you guess some of the products or brands?

For the longest time, I wanted to try out the KVD Beauty Dazzle Sticks... I have seen them all over the internet and after Nikki Wolf used one of the Dazzle Sticks ( I think she used Flash Storm), I became even more interested in them.... Guess that wait is over! I finally got my hands on the shade 'Hail Surge'. Out of all the colours, this was the one that appealed to me the most. I knew I would get a lot of use from, because it is a shade that I love to wear;

KVD Beauty is not in the hands of Kat von D anymore, and it took me a while to remember the brand has a different name. The Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in the shade Outlaw, still has the old name on it.
I always like to take a red lipstick with me when I travel, so a mini version made perfect sense in case I would crave a red lip that doesn't transfer to the face mask. It is a gorgeous Rubin Red that is a universally flattering shade. It is super light weight and comfortable on the lips. Below is a photo me wearing 'Outlaw'. I have owned many shades of the KVD Everlasting liquid lipsticks. One of my all time favourite shades is 'Vampira'. I have worn that shade many times during Epica shows.

My trusty Tarte Shape Tape concealer was empty, so I hagd to get a new one. It is still, despite of the squirting, my favourite concealer. Great coverage, perfect color and long wearing on oily skin.

The last item that I got was a lip balm from Laneige. I discovered Laneige when I was in Japan. I love the lip sleeping mask in all flavours/scents. This lip glowy balm has a slight color to it, but I almost can't see it on my lips. I like to use it as a lip topper. I don't use it at night, because it would stain all over my pillow ;)

In a coupe of weeks the Glamour Shopping Week is back in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The last couple of years, Sephora has always offered a 20% discount. I already have some items in my shopping card, ready to get during GSW :)

Do you have any beauty products on your Wishlist?

Oops, I did it again. My heart started to beat a little faster after seeing so many people wearing 'Moonstone' from Bobbi Brown.....

I don't own any Bobbi Brown eyeshadows, with the exception of some long wear cream shadow sticks.
One of the deals that I made with myself is to not buy any more eyeshadows.... You can guess how that went haha. Once a beauty junkie, always beauty junkie.

There is beauty in the number three... So I got three eyeshadow colours.... Actually, I got two but was gifted a third one.

Aren't they gorgeous? The formula, the sparkle the packaging..... They even come with a little mirror on the inside. The packaging looks like a gold bar.

I swatched these babies for you in direct sunlight and shadow. In my recent Reel, I am wearing Moonstone on my lids. There is a little fallout when you apply these. I would recommend to wet the brush a bit with a setting spray for more intensity and longevity.

Price: €40,00

Nudestix is a brand that I have been wanting to try since the longest time. I love creme products, for the cheeks and eyes. Nudestix has a lovely selection of makeup products.

A safe way to test a new brand is to get mini sets. Like this you don't break the bank and can try some products. If you don't like them, you haven't invested a small fortune ;)

I decided to get the Sunset Nudes Mini Kit Three colors right up my alley. If you want to see these products how they perform, you can check out my latest Makeup Monday

Do you have any experience with Nudestix? Are you more team powder or team cream?

If you could bottle up the sweet scent of the tiny dimples in their cheeks, their chubby hands and feet: then you would get 'Eau de Zwitsal'. Zwitsal is a familiar baby brand in the Netherlands. All Dutchies will instantly know how this smells like.

Zwitsal was founded in 1928 by a Dutch pharmacist student that took an internship at a Swiss pharmacy.
His first product was 'Zwitserse Balsam', that was mainly used for babies. After taking notice of that, he expended his line with baby powder, oil and more.

You could say that a lot of generations were bathed with products from Zwitsal, myself included.
This scent represents my early childhood. Whenever I smell this perfume, it zaps me back to the time when I was a little child.

When I was a teenager, I had a holiday job at the maternity ward in the hospital. The whole ward smelled like Zwitsal. It is a soft, soapy, powdery scent that I continued to use for myself as well, because I love the scent so much. Whenever I had to clean my makeup brushes, I would use Zwitsal Baby Shampoo.

The excitement was real when I found out that there was a perfume from Zwitsal! A friend of mine gifted me the perfume.

It is pure childhood in a bottle.

Do you know the brand Zwitsal?

Tourist Simone strikes again! This time it is the beautiful island Mainau at the Bodensee.
It is no secret that my family and I LOVE the Bodensee (Lake of Constance). Whenever we have friends and family visiting, we take them to see the Bodensee. It is a given.
You will probably see many more Bodensee posts in the time to come.

Our last trip was to the beautiful flower island, Mainau. The trip started of with a bit of a scare...
The first stop that we planned, was at the monastery Birnau. We were only there for about 5 minutes, until we found out that Oliver had a nasty tick bite.... So our next stop was to find a pharmacy for tick tweezers.... on a Sunday. Do you think we found one?

You guessed right, we were unsuccessful. Oli had to play doctor on himself. He brutally removed the little f*cker with his bare hands. If you have ever had a tick, or your pet, you know the hustle. I never had one so far... Knock on wood.

He probably got the tick during a family hike in the fields we had the day before, even though he was the only one that was properly dressed for a hike in the fields filled with ticks.
Whenever you go out in the fields (high grass), always wear long trousers, closed shoes and socks. Make sure that you don't have any exposed skin.
We live in a red zone, and have a much higher risk to get in contact with these little monsters.

After we took care of our hangriness, we proceeded to board a ship from Meersburg to the Mainau island. We were so lucky with the weather! So far it has been a weird summer. Whenever the sun shines, the days feel so carefree and light. Just like when we were children. The sun is magical.

About 10.000 steps later, it was time to board the ship again to return to the mainland.
As I walked down the bridge and took out my tickets for our way back, one of the three tickets flew into the water..... I took a photo of it, so that I could show it to the captain and that I didn't make up the lamest excuse ever for not having a ticket. He must have heard that story many times before.... I was preparing myself to buy an extra ticket.

But then..... a lovely man in a kayak came right towards us. There were no other people in the water, with the exception of our ship and the man in the kayak. I tried to tell him that I dropped my ticket, and at first he didn't seem interested or couldn't understand what I was saying.

He was coming right towards where my ticket was floating. He then took his paddle, picked up my ticket and handed it over to me. I was so grateful and astonished that our paths crossed just at the right time. That was like one in a million....

We arrived home around midnight and found out that Oli had another tick haha.... The tick circle was complete...

Do any of you have been bitten by a tick?

Wow! ΩMEGA ALIVE has received so much heartwarming positive feedback! We are all on cloud nine!
To celebrate this huge success, I recreated one of the makeup looks that I wore during the stream.

I created a more muted down look with two key products: a white and a black liner. This is so easy and fun to create!

There is a little Makeup give away as well. Recreate the look in any color that you like, it doesn't have to be black and white ;)

* Recreate a double liner look and use the hashtags #simonesimonsmakeupmonday #simonesimonsxloreal
* Like and comment my post: ΩMEGA MAKEUP

If you haven't seen the ΩMEGA ALIVE yet, you are missing out ;)
