Black hardware, that was still missing in my collection of black leather jackets. So far, I only have them with silver hardware and even though I like them very much, the gun metal hardware just makes it all so much more elegant in my opinion.

I discovered Bodaskins on Instagram through a blogger colleague of mine, Tanja Cruz. She was rocking a beautiful leather jacket and I asked her where she got it and she kindly hooked me up. Thanks Tanja!

My size is M/L. It is a bit large, but like this I can wear it in winter with a nice warm sweater underneath.

Those two little red leather straps are an eye-catching detail.

Just checking if my butt is still there, yes it is!

I love the tartan linings. Such a beautiful detail!

Thank you Bodaskins for my gorgeous new leather jacket*!

Blazers have always been a weakness of mine. You can dress up any outfit by wearing a blazer. It is a versatile basic in my closet and I have them in different colors and sizes. It is so flattering and makes you look super sophisticated.

For the Berlinale I wanted to wear a female smoking. I already had the perfect blazer and only had to search for a good blouse and trousers. Ok, also for shoes ;) Believe it or not, I do not own many shoes.

This long blazer is from Zara. It is already one year old, but I have seen a similar version at Mango which are in stores right now.

By the push of one button, one of the most beautiful cupcakes will be coming your way. L'Oréal's Pop Up Store the 'Worth It Café' had their own Cupcake ATM! Just what every woman wants, sweets only one button away.

Lottas Torten created the most lovely baked goods that were a treat to look at as well as to eat it. I am a great fan of cakes, so it was rather hard for me to pick just one. Lotta's cupcakes were almost too beautiful to eat. My empty stomach convinced me to eat them anyway.

The Pop Up store was located at the Neptune shop in Berlin. It was temporarily changed into the Worth It Café for as long as the Berlinale lasted, which was from the 7th of February until the 17th.
A lot of activities took place at the cafe. Stefanie Giesinger, Lena Meyer-Landrut and Iris Berben were some of the German celebrities that paid a visit.

You could buy and try all the latest products and have a coffee as well as Lotta's Cakes. The perfect combination if you ask me.

Yes, I have a VALIDATED book, signed for me! So happy with it!

Sohi and Siar checking the shot.

All proceeds from the café went to the DKMS and the Movember Foundation.  I have one of their mugs at home. Another lovely souvenir which is connected to all the great memories that I have collected together with the L'Oréal team.

With the L'Oréal Men Expert team. We were given some time to ourselves to create some images at the café. I couldn't tell if there were more cameras or cupcake while we were at the café ;)

During this wonderful Berlinale days, I slept so little. My head was filled with an incredible amount of impressions from all the events, walks on the red carpet, movies and meeting so many lovely people. Luckily I could recharge my caffeine level at the Worth It Café a couple of times.

This summer will be festival time! Excited for all the festivals and DYU shows that are coming real soon! I've started listening to the album again to get the songs back in my system. I can't believe it is 10-years-old! I remember recording Tides of Time being really sick. Still love that song so much.

Sonny and Cher ;)

Well, hello there!

I had to pose next to the giant lipstick. One of my favourite make up products.

The lovely Val Garland gave a make up work shop and gifted us with her book 'Validated'. I can tell you I was so excited to meet here again. She is a very cool lady let me tell you! So down to earth and relaxed. Open to any conversation has a great sense of humour. I hope to meet her many more times.

Too pretty to eat, right?

To conclude this post I wanted to add a little bit more sweetness to your day. Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog!
Also thank you to L'Oréal and Zeitgestalten for organising another great event and letting me be a part of it!

xo

Don't underestimate the power of a perfume. Normally I don't feel seduced to buy any perfume that comes inside a magazine, but not this time.

My family and I were enjoying our holidays in Fuerte Ventura last September while Oliver was on tour. It was the first vacation for me where I was forced to sit back at the pool or enjoy a free sand peeling at the beach (strong wind).

I had brought some magazines with me from Germany to help me sit still and control the urge to do something. There isn't much sightseeing to do in Fuerte Ventura, especially if you don't have a rental car. It is a barren island, but the apartments we were staying at were very modern and quite close to the sea. There was a little supermarket closely where we bought our groceries. I cooked a couple of quick meals and enjoyed the local restaurants.

Every morning after breakfast, I would lie at the pool and get a whiff of Calvin Klein's new perfume 'Women'. The add in the magazine was also drawing my attention. The bottle certainly is beautiful, but I saw Nina Simone and I love her! This is scent is now so strongly connected to a relaxing holiday. The effect that it has when I wear it is instant. I can taste the candies that I bought at the local drugstore, I can feel the wind on my skin and the sun shining in the clear blue sky.

On our way back home I saw the perfume at the duty free. They had a the cutest little miniature version of it and I wanted to buy it. After waiting a long time to pay for it, the lady at the register told me that it was a freebie that you would get if you spend so much and I wasn't ready to pay so much for a perfume that was not going to be my signature scent (I already have one), but more as a perfume to take me back to certain place and time in my life.

Somehow I couldn't get it out of my head and decided to buy the smallest bottle, which is 30 ml and I have not regretted doing so.

'WOMEN' consists out of floral notes, woody notes, Eucalyuptus acorns, alaskan cedar wood and range flower.

To me it smells fresh, modern and very versatile. I love how perfumes are in a way the key to unlock certain memories in our mind and make us relive them at that very second.

Do you have a story to tell about your perfume collection and the memories connected to it? Why you buy a certain perfume for what reason? I am curious!

Doesn't this look feels like spring? I am ready for spring, winter move over!

Do you remember the days where I wore bright pink eyeshadow onstage? Must have been 10 years ago! Time flies! Reds, oranges and pinks were always one of my favorite bright colors to make my blue eyes pop.

One of my favourite pink eyeshadows was 'Bright Fuchsia', a pigment from Mac Cosmetics (very messy to work with). I still have it and even though I haven't used it in a while, I can't seem to part ways with it.
Back in the day (yes, I know I sound like a grandma), MAC had bigger and more travel friendly packaging for their pigments. You would get 7,5 gram compared to the 4,5 grams you get nowadays.
I will probably never finish this pigment and can pass it on to my great grand children ;)

The color on my lids is from Natasha Denona's new palette called 'Bloom', a gorgeous blush and glow palette. At first when I started playing with it, I started with the softer shades, but when I swatched the cream blush shade, I felt the urge to put it all over my eyes. The texture is insane. It is not like a greasy cream blush, more like a cream to powder with a cool touch. The texture reminds me a bit of the Color pop eyeshadows.

I topped my eye look off with Linda Hallberg Cosmetics 'Infinity Glass', which is a holy grail product for me. Glossy, but not tacky. I love a good multi purpose products and the Infinity Glass definitely is all of that.

I exchanged my pajamas for a pink dress and then the whole look was complete.
On my lips I am wearing MAC COSMETICS Half n' Half.

I couldn't resist swatching these colors. My camera wasn't fast enough ;)
