Forever Kissing

by 26.12.11

Good morning!

Here's a new post of my 'Best of' series and it concerns lip balm. Next up will be Tinted Lip Balm.

Winter time isn't particularly nice for our lips. Some people suffer from severely chapped lips. I myself can't live without a good lip balm. I'm always on the look out for the perfect formula that feels great, tastes and smells good.

Yesterday I split my lip for the very first time. I was too rough with rubbing my foundation off with a dry tissue. Luckily I have found the best lip balm for me. It is a lip balm from 'Forever Living', called Aloe Lips. Here is the link to the Dutch version; Forever Living Dutch

It was a present from Elise and I am forever grateful to her. The formula is just perfect, the scent is not to strong. It leaves my lips smooth, soft and shiny and even boyfriends/girlfriends will love this. You'll be forever kissable when you use this product. My split lip healed in no time, thanks to the healing power of Aloe.

  1. Glad that your lip is better, Simone. I use Nivea Peal & Shine lip balm as it keeps my lips moisturised while obtaining a frosted shine. However, this is not one of my favourites for a split lip; for this I usually grab the Vaseline!
Way back in January, you posted about EOS lip balm - which made me chuckle as they kind of reminded me a little of skittles.

Much love from the UK xxx

Ouch - a split lip! I am really looking forward to your "best of" series!! I really like the EOS spheres - especially "Lemon Drop". Have you ever tried Korres Lip Butter? It's from Greece and is sold at Sephora. I really like "Jasmine" - it has a pink tint to it. And that's so sweet that Elise got you a gift!!

  4. Hello, Red Muse

"Forever Living" is very nice! I used this lip balm, and other products of the same line. very good! The dental cream is delicious, but don't have fluor, you can prove and realize this. The liquid soap of Aloe smells very well. And many other product. Here in Brazil, "Forever Living" is in progressive expansion.

Still About the lip balm: is very nice, but the brazilian formula don't have solar protection. The action could be better. But is very nice this way. I can't stay in the sun, so I have to protect myself all the time. And I protect my lips too!

I currently use a protective moisturizer on the lips from "Avon", called "Rich" every day!

    A Protector Kiss to you...:)

  5. I think I'll have to try it! I use a Cold Cream from Avène on my lips and hands before I go to sleep and then during the day just a normal Nivea lip balm. It works well that way :)
Will you do a question and answers video soon? Or post maybe? I have some interesting ones!
    Have a nice last 2011's week! <3

  6. Hi!

I use "Letibalm" whick i think is produced in valencia, as is written in the box.
Its a nice product, and i can use it for the nose when i'm ill also.

The main problem is that isnt a lipstick, is like in a small box, and its a bit uncomfortable, so i will try a different product as soon as i finish it.

    Love froms spain!

  8. I use the same for two years now and I have to admitt that this balm is my best friend in winter! Some times I use balms by Neutrogena. They are great too but more " fleshy " and it's not really convenient when you want to stay kissable ;)

  9. Hi Simone. Thank you so much for the advice, I will search it! I don't know if it is on sale here in Mexico but I'll try to search it. I always suffer of chapped lips, eventhough I don't live in a very cold city =(. I use one of Mary Kay and another from Oriflame but I don't get the desired results.

Anyway, I hope you be ok and Happy Holidays!!

  13. Hi Simone,

I've never heard of this kind of lip balm. I've been using Alba Botanica Coconut Cream. It lasts a long time, it's smooth and the taste is quite mild. I really enjoy this lip balm. :)

    Cheers,

    Emilia.
