This is Ingeborg's 'Speldenkussentje'
Hi Sweets,

A couple of days ago, me and Coen went to visit Ingeborg Steenhorst to talk about our upcoming stage outfits for RETROSPECT. This is one of the parts that I enjoy the most when it comes to preparing for a big happening. Ingeborg already styled us for our 'Requiem for the Indifferent' world tour, and is now working on our brand new wardrobe as we speak!

We chose our fabrics, cuts and multi purpose outfits. I was trying to let her know by my drawings what I had in mind. Luckily she understood my scribbles and we came to some really interesting designs.

In a couple of weeks I will visit her again to have the first fittings. I can't wait to see these new designs come to life. All the little pieces of RETROSPECT are falling into place. This will be EPIC!

More info on our 10-year-anniversary show which will take place on the 23rd of March in Eindhoven NL; http://www.epica-retrospect.com/

Hello Sweets,

In this blogpost I want to talk about body oil and in particular about the 'Caudalie' Huile Divine. The first time that I saw something about Caudalie, was from Mira aka funnypilgrim. She raved about it and I was searching for a good multi purpose oil since my skin gets very dehydrated during these months.

This oil is very moisturizing, it nourishes and enhances the skin. It is made with a blend of oils (grape, hibiscus, sesame and argan) combined with anti-oxidant Polyphenols. The scent can be described as a subtle, floral and sun-kissed fragrance, with woody notes. If you buy this oil, you support the Coeur de Foret Association which is planting trees in the Amazon.

My experience is that the scent already won me over. So far I've only used it for my arms and legs. You can use this for your face and hair as well. I use it at night before going to sleep. The perfume is so beautiful and relaxing. It kind of reminds me of some baby creams and the scent of babies and I am not talking about diapers.

You simply have to try this when you get the chance!

Love,

Hi sweeties,

For New Years Eve I invited my family over and cooked a five course meal for them. I was standing in the kitchen for two days, experimenting, preparing for the big meal. From the first course, which was a lovely zucchini soup, I didn't make a picture. I realized that after we've eaten it. You can trust me when I say that it looked green and delicious.

  1. Zucchini Soup
  2. Orange Carrot Rucola Salad
  3. Lemon Sorbet with Champagne
  4. Chicken breast with pistachio sauce, filled Tomato and grilled Potato disks
  5. Home made Panna Cotta with forest fruit sauce and chocolate sticks
My guests loved the dinner that I prepared for them. I am glad that I already made the main course once  the day before to see how it would turn out. All of these meals, except for the soup, were brand new and I can recommend to you that you try them out once before the big day. Like this you can alter the recipe to your liking and also time the whole evening. When you are preparing so many tasty recipes, it is good to have a little bit a plan. There are certain pieces that you can prepare before your guests arrive and some which need to be fresh, like the chicken breast.

Tasty greetings,

Can't say it often enough that I love living in beautiful Germany. I have the Blackwood Forest right at my feet and I love spending time in it.

Yesterday was a gloomy day with small sections of sun in between. Enjoy the pictures.
