Divine Oil

by 22.1.13

Hello Sweets,

In this blogpost I want to talk about body oil and in particular about the 'Caudalie' Huile Divine. The first time that I saw something about Caudalie, was from Mira aka funnypilgrim. She raved about it and I was searching for a good multi purpose oil since my skin gets very dehydrated during these months.

This oil is very moisturizing, it nourishes and enhances the skin. It is made with a blend of oils (grape, hibiscus, sesame and argan) combined with anti-oxidant Polyphenols. The scent can be described as a subtle, floral and sun-kissed fragrance, with woody notes. If you buy this oil, you support the Coeur de Foret Association which is planting trees in the Amazon.

My experience is that the scent already won me over. So far I've only used it for my arms and legs. You can use this for your face and hair as well. I use it at night before going to sleep. The perfume is so beautiful and relaxing. It kind of reminds me of some baby creams and the scent of babies and I am not talking about diapers.

You simply have to try this when you get the chance!

Love,

  1. Very nice tip! And this brand is committed to environmental issues which is great! :)

I not only like moisturizers but also kind of need them ... the aspect of my skin gives me the capacity to "read" what's going on inside of my body. Spreading cosmetics gives me time to analyze my health too.

Your skin is simply beautiful! Looks so flawless! Inspiring ;)

    Greetings from Brazil!

  3. I've just bought this oil. It really smells great. Its odour reminds me mythic oil from l'oreal, I think becuase of grape. I tried it only on my arms. But plan to use it on my hair. Hope my hair like it :-)

  4. I love products with Argan. I need to try this one you say, if it is not too expensive, of course.

    A kiss from Portugal!

  5. Thanks for this. It's unlikley that I will ever use this, but I appricate your insight. The only beauty type product I use is E-45 cream, I actually love it.Good that they support the Coeur de foret association. I was hearing a speach from somone aboard the ISS saying that the destruction of the Amazon was visible from space. It fills me with dread, I can't stand slash & burn farming. I also saw a tv show about the mahogany trade. To get one mahogany tree on avarage 20 other trees are destroyed. It's horrible, they just wrap a chain around the tree & a tractor pulls it out the ground unrooting other trees in the process. Hope you are doing well Simone.
sorry about my spelling, this app has no spellcheck.

  6. Well,I thinkI'd like the smell too :-)

I have very dry skin as well and I use something very simple at the moment; almond oil.
I used to have body butter from Sea Line (www.originalcosmetics.nl) and ít worked perfectly, but I just don't have the money right now to spend E20 on that. But since I am n advocate on natural cosmetics, this almond oil is a good option as well, and much cheaper. Sesame oil is also good for dry skin, but doesnt smell too nice ;)

See you on the 23d of march! :-)

  8. Just bought this one, was dying to try it since you recommended it, which is over a year now LOL. But it's not available in Hungary, and I'm now in Belgium for 2 months so this was the chance and I took it! :)
Thank you, this is really, really good for my dry skin! I'll take two bottles with me to go back home :)
