London Drugstore Haul

by 17.3.14

As promised a little London haul for you!

London is one of the best places to go beauty shopping. They have lovely high street products. I really wanted to get the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer since so many people raved about it and I am always on the search for the perfect concealer. I went to a couple of Superdrugs and Boots to find it. They are sold out almost everywhere! I did succeed after a while and got some other beauty products as well.

  • Eylure Naturalites Lashes
  • Ardell Demi Wispies lashes (I already used these for a show)
  • Batiste mini dry shampoo in tropical and cherry scent
  • Collection Lasting Perfection concealer in warm medium
  • Nivea Double Effect eye make up remover
  • Real Techniques silicone liner brush (really curious if it works)

Not on the picture, but in my tummy are the Cadbury chocolate eggs. Yummy!!

  2. For dry shampoo, you can simply use cornflour (Maïzena?). you have to apply a small amount on your scalp, make a quick massage, to be sure you have powder everywhere. let it for 5 to 10 minutes and then you remove it with your hairbrush. I tried it and this really works! you just have to make sure that you've removed everything, if not you'll look like a grandma! super economic, safe: no harsh ingredient!

  3. Thanks for sharing! I'm always looking for the perfect concealer too, my dark circles are terribly difficult to cover. Let us know if this one by Collection Lasting Perfection is worth the hype.

  5. I prefer L'Oréal's make-up remover... It removes water proof mascara easily than Nivea's.

I use Kat Von D tatoo concealer tattoo (light 16) and I like it a lot, because I don't have lines, I have combination and sensitive skin and I use it to cover my blemishes (since I have dermatitis in nose area).

And Cadbury chocolates are delicious! ;)

Glad you had a little "me" time in London! I've also wondered about that RT brush and how it works with MAC fluidline.

  8. I'm curiously, the "Real Techniques silicone liner brush" really works? I never hear that (silicone), sounds cool.

  9. I use the same dry shampoo, and the Chapman ladies brushes are amazing. I just watched a tutorial with that brush. Seemed to work really well. For me, I prefer an angled brush. Easier for me. Can't wait to see you again back in the States!
