Bond Girl by Charlotte Tilbury

There is something very enticing about the make up products from Charlotte Tilbury. The design is right up my alley. The combination of rose gold and bordeaux make it feel so luxuriously vintage. The price tag is quite high, but she does deliver good quality products.

My latest order was the Bond Girl Lucious Lip Slick Set (try saying that 10 times fast) and the Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder. Pixiwoo and many other beauty gurus rave about this powder, so you know I had to try it.

Luscious Lip Slick €48

The lip set consists of Bond Girl Lipstick from the Matte Revolution series and Hollywood Honey Lip Cheat. You can wear both separately or combined. I find that the color of the lipstick looks so much more luscious when you apply Hollywood Honey as a base. The lip cheats are very waxy and gritty, so any lipstick on top of it won't budge. The formula of the lipstick is very hydrating and not 2D matte, which is a nice alternative to the everlasting liquid lipstick trend.

Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder €42

After swatching the powders in Canada, I decided to wait and order them online with some other products. I always accumulate a lot of beauty products when traveling. The price wasn't cheaper in Canada, so I decided to not fill up my suitcase with it just yet.

I wasn't sure if I was a light or a medium, but I decided to go for the light color, which was the right choice. The powder is indeed finely mild, but it is very powdery and doesn't do as much for my skin as I had hoped. The coverage is light to medium, more than what most people say. Compared to the other powders that I have, I prefer MAC Studio Fix Powder. Aside from the fact that it has more coverage, I prefer the way it sits on the skin. CT's powder seems to emphasize skin texture, which is the opposite of what I want.

I will finish this powder, but most likely not repurchase. The Lip Cheats however, I do want to get more of, because they are some of the best lip pencils on the market.

My Filmstar Bronze & Glow is almost gone, at least the bronzer part, so I will also get a new one soon. The Instant Look In A Palette also caught my eye. There are two versions, but none of them are my perfect match. It would be perfect if Charlotte would let you create your own palette to your preference.
