SMOONSTYLE

Are you guys ready for Beauty Bin number 11? There is a big list waiting for you!
To make it easy and kind of organized, I've split them up in the 'Hair', 'Make Up', 'Body' and 'Face' files.

Let's get to it!

HAIR

  • Andrelon Keratine Repair Conditioner (2x) Still loving this. It contains silicone, but I don't care that much about it. It makes my hair shiny and soft.
  • Anderson Oil and Care One Minute Mask  Great for once in a while, but very rich.
  • Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Keratin Mask I love this stuff, but is is so expensive and for people with long hair, it is just too much. I go through conditioners like chocolate ;)
  • Rituals Shikakai Secret Conditioner After using this for the second tube, I found out that I don't like it too much. There is always a weird residue on the hair after washing it and I don't like that feeling at all.
  • Rituals Brilliant Bliss Shampoo This is a shampoo that will always make my hair clean, my scalp got used to it and is not dry anymore. The scent is a real treat too!

MAKE UP

  • Maybelline the Rocket Waterproof Mascara My favorite mascara since a long time. It separates the lashes, keeps the curl and elongates them. It is not a volumizing mascara, but that is not what I need in a mascara.
  • Forever Living Aloe Lip Balm A lovely, light lip balm that is great for chapped lips.
  • NYX HD Concealer It does the job. I need heavy duty concealers and will get me new one soon. It has a light formula with a good coverage. Great for the under eye area.
  • Maybelline Anti Age Concealer in 'Light' This concealer is a great highlighter. I use it for under my eyes, the forehead and chin.

FACE

  • Bioderma Sendibio/Crealine Micellar Water The best among all the cleansing waters. I keep coming back to this and will continue to fill up my suitcase whenever I am in France.
  • Balea Ultra Sensitive Cleansing Milk A staple since many years. I love to wash my face with this in the morning. It is gentle, yet effective.
  • Kryolan Micro Foam Cleanser I love this for on tour to wash my face in the tour bus. I love it because you always get the right amount out and it doesn't create a mess. This lasted forever. Even when the bottle felt empty, there was still product coming out. A little down side is that it did leave a dry feeling to the skin. Slap on that moisturizer fast after you use this ;)
  • Kryolan Waterproof Eye Make Up Remover Love it! Found a new love.
  • Sephora Waterproof Eye Make Up Remover Hello new love! This is my number one at the moment. Will stock up soon.
  • Clinique Even Better Dark Spot Corrector Didn't do anything. According to my dermatologist, this is is not worth it's money. I loved the feeling that it gave my skin, but I didn't see any improvement unfortunately.
  • Bebe Fresh Eyes and Face Cleaning Water
  • Bebe Brighten Up Day Creme My day creme since a while and still love it. I was naughty and switch to Estee Lauder Daywear and got a nasty case of hives. Time to give that to someone else. It is a brand new bottle. What a waste of money.
  • Ebelin Nail Polish Remover I shouldn't complain and just start to use another brand. I am on my last bottle. I switched to nail pad removers. They are taking more time, but my nails are happy.

BODY

  • Weleda Calendula Wash Lotion and Shampoo for Babies My baby loves this and why change a winning lotion. Babies skin are so sensitive, better not strain it with an abundance of lotions and shower creams.
  • Dove Body Wash 2X Both are great, I love me some Dove.
  • Nivea Creme Peeling Once a week I like to scrub all the dead skin cells off. This one works great.
  • Balea Soft Oil Balm My all time favorite body lotion. Great for the summer time where you need that extra shine on the legs.
  • Vasenol Spray and Go in Aloe Love the scent and the effect. Nice and cooling.
  • Balea Shaving Foam It is not the best, but I hardly use it because shower gel often does the job as well. This foam dissolves really fast compared to other gels that foam. However, this is not a gel that turns into a foam.
  • Rituals 'Yin' Calming Bed and Body Mist Love this scent. My absolute favorite from all the lines that Rituals carries. It really has a soothing effect on me.
  • Rituals T'ai Chi Foaming Shower Gel I was a happy shower girl when I found out that they changed the foam out of the TAO line. The old one had green tea in it and this one smells just like the body mist! Yay! Love, love, love this! Such a nice and luxurious feeling. Makes showering even more fun. No more cold shower gel/foam application. I totally recommend this to you. It might feel weird at first, but trust me, you will enjoy it!

Consider this the biggest Beauty Bin up to date. I accumulated a hoarder's amount of lotions and potions. I should do BB more often. Like that, my house won't drown in empty packages.

Like last time, I will divide them into Face, Hair, Body and this time I've added Make Up.
Get yourself something to snack and a drink because it will be quite the list.

FACE

Bebe More Brighten- Up Day creme  (2x) A nice light day creme, perfect for mixed skin types. I do find that it stings my eyes a bit, so try to stay away from them.
Bebe More Bedtime Beauty A thicker consistancy than the Brighten- Up Day creme. I wanted to try it out, but found it too rich for my skin type.
L'Oreal Waterproof make up remover Great, but not the best.
Alverde Clear Peeling face mask I loved this because it didn't irritate my skin. It helped with the impurities and left my skin nice and soft.
Maybelline Waterproof make up remover Hoarding this big time. For me close to the best, but I need more to get rid of the waterproof mascaras. They are a b.i.t.ch to get off!
Weleda Mandel (almond) Face creme (2x) I tried my best, but after two tubes, I couldn't get used to the weird feeling of having a layer on my skin. It felt as if my skin didn't absorb it. Better for dry skin.
L'Oreal Micellar Solution Water Tried it, went back to Bioderma.
Kryolan Waterproof Eye make up remover For me the best to remove waterproof mascara. Kryolan nailed it! It is a bit pricier than the Maybelline, but it lasts longer. No stinging eyes. Very comfortable. Need to get me some new ones asap.

BODY

Eubos Sensitive hand creme Still my all time favorite hand creme. My holy grail for dry hands.
Vaseline Spray and Go Moisturizer Pure Oat Extract Perfect for a thin layer of lotion, not a miracle product. The scent is not my thing, but I love the idea of spray lotions.
Vaseline Spray and Go Moisturizer Aloe Now here is more my scent. I love how aloe has a cooling effect on the skin. Perfect for hot summer days.
Rituals Wai Gang body scrub My favorite scent of the whole Rituals range. White lotus and Yi Yi Ren. Great scrub. Only downside is the bottle. You gotta work the muscles to squeeze it out.
Balea Soft Oil Balm body lotion You know this one, right? A must for every girl!
Dusch Das Golden Cashmere deo roller Love this scent and that it works. No more smelly armpits.
Kneipp Nachtkerze shower gel  A very soft and scent and great for sensitive skin. It did hydrate my skin.

HAIR

Anderson Oil and Care shampoo Will not buy this. Made my hair grease up on the day I washed it. Way too rich and makes the hair weigh down. Will not buy this again. It was an emergency purchase.
Paul Mitchell Keratin Intensive Treatment If it weren't for the price, I would buy this more often. I go through conditioners like crazy. It would just get too pricy. It is great, but too expensive.
Balea Deep Cleanse Shampoo I like to crunch up my hair with texture sprays and put oil in the ends of my hair. This is a good shampoo to get rid of all the build up and isn't too harsh for my hair.
Andrelon Keratine Repair Conditioner There you have an affordable conditioner that I really seem to like ;) Still using this on a two daily basis. I wash my hair every second day. The Dutch drugstore 'Kruidvat' often has two for one. My mom always stocks me up. Rob helped me out once too.

MAKE UP

Manhattan Endless Stay Make-Up 62 Porcelain (2x) A super affordable and great medium to full coverage foundation. They changed the packaging and the formula a bit. I loved that it came in squeeze tubes for traveling, but I did sometimes blob out too much.
Maybelline Age rewind concealer in Light (2x) Love this for highlighting. Not enough coverage for (my) under eye area.
Kryolan Lip Stain in Rock My color red that I have been wearing for The Quantum Enigma photo shoots and shows. It is a super opaque red that stays on like a dream. Already on my second tube.
Estee Lauder Double Wear Maximum Cover in Vanilla My secret concealer for those days where you just need it. I also love to use it for the stage because it is a great stage/night time full coverage foundation. For day time I find it too heavy. It also emphasizes the pores and oxidizes. Funny story is that I wore this during giving birth (yes, I wore make up). It stayed on during my water birth.
L'Oreal Super Liner in Brown One of my staples. It is a beautiful dark brown liquid liner with a glossy finish.
Essence Studio Nails fast drying top coat It is ok, still doesn't come close to Seche Vite.
Ebelin Nail Polish remover without acetone Always have this in my house and travel bag. I should switch up to a new one. My nails have been in a horrible condition lately. Split and weak. Do you guys know a good one?
Ebelin Nail Polish remover pads without acetone These are more forgiving for the nails, but it lasts longer to get the nail polish off and I don't have the patience for that ;)

This Beauty Bin is extra large so I divided the products in 'face, hair and body'. Like this it is a bit more organized and you can have a better look at the products.

Let's jump right into them. Starting with the BB items which I've used for my face.

Face

  • Balea Ultra Sensitive Face Milk: I use this in the morning to cleanse my face from oil and sleepiness. It is perfect for my sensitive mixed skin. A staple in my routine.
  • Bioderma Crealine: This is always the second to last step in my skin cleansing routine. I've tried other cleansing waters like these, but keep on coming back to Bioderma.
  • Nivea Waterproof Make Up Remover: Bought this one because Lisa Eldridge raved about it. On my eyes it stings, so I won't be repurchasing this again.
  • Mac Mineralize Volcanic Ash Exfoliator: This used to he a limited edition product, but is now in MAC Cosmetics permanent range. It is a sugar face exfoliator that contains volcanic ash. It is black as night and when you start to rub it on your face it foams slightly and turns grey. You can also use this as a face mask. It leaves my skin soft and nicely exfoliated. It is also fun to use and scare your partner or yourself when you've forgotten that you put it on and then look in the mirror.
  • Weleda Almond Face Creme: My husband uses this and I got curious and tried it myself. Now I love it. It is quite rich especially for a combo skin, but it doesn't break me out and keeps my skin nice and hydrated. I am already on my third tube.

Hair

  • Andrelon Keratine Repair Conditioner: This is my favorite Dutch drugstore brand for hair. It contains silicone, but I need that due to the limestone in the water in my hometown. It smells divine too!
  • Andrelon Keratine Repair 1-Minute Mask: Great for people with little time. It is very rich and creamy. You don't really also need this one. I now only just use the conditioner. Didn't notice a difference between the two to be honest.
  • Alterra Hydrating Pomegranate Shampoo: The home brand from the German drugstore 'Rossman''. I am a huge fan of the scent and the fact that it is free of silicone. Sometimes you need to give the hair a break. This is one works well with the limestone, but I can only use it for a short time. It doesn't lather so well.
  • Alterra Hydrating Pomegranate Hair Mask: Instead of getting the conditioner, I got the hair mask. A total recommendation. No silicone, but still that kind of soft feeling that silicone gives.
  • Rituals Brilliant Bliss Shampoo: Rituals is a my luxury/spa brand. This shampoo makes my hair shine really beautifully, it smells sooo good. It is quite harsh on my scalp, so can't use this too often.
  • L'Oreal Absolute Repair Hair Mask: A product that I have been using on and off for years. A great hair mask, a bit pricy so I prefer to go to drugstore hair masks since I use them quite often.

Body

  • Nivea Creme Care Shower Creme: Love this scent and that it is so affordable. Works good for me.
  • Dove Shower Gel: I'm a Dove shower gel junkie. This is my favorite at the moment. Makes my skin super soft.
  • Balea Body Lotion: The best. Ever. Great for dry skin and for shiny summer legs.
  • Ebelin Nail Polish Remover: This nailpolish remover is acetone free. It does the job and is affordable.
  • Dusch Das Golden Cashmere Deo Roller: Love this scent. I don't use deo sprays anymore because they get me into a coughing fit. Rollers are the way to go for me. I am using up the sprays I have and then it is bye bye deo sprays for me.
  • Nivea Satin Sensation Deo Roller: A great deodorant, but not travel or clumsy friendly because of the fact that is comes in a glass bottle. Tried it once, but will continue to use my Dusch Das and Sebamed deos.

There have been quite some empty bottles accumulating in my BB drawer and I just had to empty it and create a blog post for the Beauty Bin Section.

Let's go!

Nivea Creme Care shower creme
The reason why I mainly love this is the scent. It smells just like the blue tin creme that they have since the beginning of Nivea. Oliver uses that creme, so you get my point. ;) A good shower gel that smells lovely!

Dove Pistachio shower creme
Dove is my favorite shower brand. Whenever a new scent comes out, it will end up with me in the shower. This smells so luxurious and really hydrates my skin. A great plus is that they are inexpensive, at least here in Germany.

Redken Fresh Curls Shampoo
They don't make these anymore. I hate it when they do that! Redken carries a new line that is called Curvaceous and my hairdresser told me that their customers liked the old version better. That sucks for me, because that was my favorite shampoo.

Redken Smooth Down shampoo
On to my second favorite shampoo from Redken. I have half wavy, straight and slightly frizzy hair so this is perfect for me. I do need a little silicone in my hair to keep in under control and this shampoo does that beautifully.

Babylove 'Gute Nacht' Lotion
The scent is divine! It smells like lavender, but not like granny style. I included it in my BB because I also used it. Don't tell Vincent.

Balea Soft Oil Balm
My favorite body lotion, still is and will probably be for a long time. And they lived happily ever after :)

MAC Brush Cleanser
I was hoping to find a cheaper dupe for this, but failed. I am currently trying the brush cleanser from Hema, but it is not the same. MAC really cleans the brushes, doesn't have a strong perfume and doesn't feel oily. Will have to get a new one soon.

Nivea 3 in 1 cleaning fluid for sensitive skin
I was curious when I saw it and had to test it out. My favorite was the Bioderma and after trying the one from L'Oreal, I have to say that Bioderma does work the best for me. Ordered two new big Bioderma Sensibios.

Nivea Soft and Intensive Hand Lotion
Already am using my second one. I love using this at night to really give my hands a treat after all that washing and cleaning. It has a nice texture and really hydrates my dry hands. It also feels comfortable on the hands and doesn't leave a sticky layer. It smells great too!

Manhattan Endless Stay make up 62 Porcelain
One of my favorite drugstore foundations. It has medium to full coverage and lasts all day. They don't come in a big range of colors, but 62 Porcelain is a good mix for me (I am NC20 in MAC). However, it is a bit on the grey side, so I mix it with a warmer foundation. At the moment I am testing out another foundation from Manhattan. It is the Powder Mat Make Up in 80 Sand. A really lovely foundation, but full of silicone unfortunately. It has great coverage and also lasts really well. You will have to decide for yourself if you want to have silicone in your foundation. I find that it feels quite comfortable on the skin though.

Bioderma Sebium Pore Refiner
A great primer for combo skin. It mattifies the skin, and makes the pore appear smaller. It doesn't make the disappear. No product does that, let's be honest.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer
Another great product that has been taken of the market. I love this for brightening the under eye area and to highlight the face. It is not a full coverage concealer, so don't expect those grey bags to magically vanish. For highlighting it is great!

Rituals Qi Gong deo stick
After hearing so many people raving about this deodorant, I had to get it myself. I normally don't spend almost €10 for a deo, simply because I find that too expensive. Rituals do always seem to convince me with their divine smelling products. The Tao Collection is my favorite scent and I already own the deo spray from this line. The deo stick was ok, not a miracle working and unfortunately also leaving stripes in my clothes. Will not buy this again.

Balea Volume Shampoo
A super inexpensive shampoo that works ok. When you have long and heavy hair, it is hard to create volume in it. It is free of silicone so that must be a plus to many of you. Another plus is that it still made my hair shine, even though the silicone is mostly the reason for that. The scent was very delicate and doesn't last long on the hair, but that is ok. Will buy this one again soon.

So, my question to you: Would you like me to continue with the Beauty Bins?

Totally forgot to post these Beauty Bin items. They got lost on my old hard drive along with some other posts. Let's go!

Maybelline The Rocket mascara waterproof
Love this, have been using it since half a year and just killed another one and have a back up ready.
I love the brush and the fact that is not so expensive. Maybelline make the best drugstore mascara's.

Maybelline False Lash Mascara waterproof
This brush is slightly bent, which I normally like. However, it doesn't get to all the lashes and the root of the lashes like the The Rocket. It is great for a more natural look, even though the name says False Lash Effect. Don't really agree on that.

Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara
A tiny tiny wand to really get to the lower lash line. I bought a couple of these, but don't really use them now anymore. I really liked it pre Vincent, now I just go for one mascara to do the job, upper and bottom lashes. If you got the time and money to spare, go for it!

L'Oreal Super Liner Ultra Precision in Brown
A staple in my every day makeup whenever I want to go for a brown eyeliner. This one is super dark brown and has a glossy finish. I like to wear off black, dark brown eyeliner. It is not so harsh and slightly more subtle :)

Diorskin Forever Foundation in 010 and 020
This has been my favorite high end foundation for many years. It is great for combo skin types and also has an spf of 25. Not too great for traveling because of the glass packaging. At the moment I only have one high end foundation in my collection and tend to use more high street nowadays.

Essence Better than gel nails topcoat
A life saver for a nail noob. It is affordable and does the job really well.
Killing lots of these. A must buy!

Balea Skin make up remover wipes for dry, sensitive skin
A good and very affordable wipes. Doesn't irritate the skin and takes of the majority of the make up.

BeBe Young Care make up remover wipes for dry sensitive skin
This are my favorite make up wipes. I have one in my suitcase, my closet and my make up bag. It claims to take off waterproof make up but the Rocket mascara is very stubborn and needs a liquid make up remover. I always use these wipes as a first step in taking off my make up.

Time for another Beauty Bin. I've been hoarding the empty packages like a semi pro. Sometimes I have thrown stuff away. For example when I got on a trip, I often take mini samples and use them up during my trip. To take them back with me to feature in a BB would be a bit absurd. Face whips and tooth past won't be featured here as well. The same goes for toilet paper, if you get what I'm saying. :)

From bottom left to right:

Nivea Soft Milk
I love the scent, the feeling on my skin. 400 ml took quite some time to use up, but I love putting on body lotion after a bathing/shower session. Dry patches on my arms are gone!

Vaseline Spray and Go in Aloe Vera
First time when I saw this was at Beautygloss. I like the idea and finally found some at a Dutch super market. I also have the oatmeal scent of it, but like the aloe more. To say that it is super hydrating, I wouldn't say so. If DM would make a spray version of my beloved soft oil balsam, I would hoard it.
The idea is great, now it needs to be filled with a great moisturizer and it would be perfect.

Bioderma Sensibio
Yes, still loving this. At the moment I am testing a Nivea version of the water of goodness. So far so good. Will get some more Sensibio when I am in Paris. Forgot to get some last time around. I was too busy eating crepes.

Andrelon Oil and Care Shampoo
Argan oil, the new hair trend. Put it on a package and it will be sold to all the long haired people out here. It's good, but does make the hair greasy quite fast. Scent is nice, not too overpowering.

Alverde Mango Papaya Deo Roll On (no aluminum salt)
I was using this during my quest to find the perfect 'safe' deodorant. This has to be one of the best I've come around, but at the end of the day I do smell like a jungle. Haven't found the perfect one.
Best would be to apply this a couple of times a day. It does need a while to dry so hang those armpits under the fan in the bath room or you'll walk around with some darkened arm pits for all to see ;)
I don't use spray deodorants anymore. They kind of make me choke and irritate my throat.

Eubos Sensitive Handcreme
The. best. ever. Point again. Will by this over and over and over. Did I already say over?

Mac Brush Cleanser
A good product for some brush cleansing. Deep cleaning should be done with a different product.
This is good for the in between sessions. Make up brushes that are used for creme products should be washed with soap and water. I bought the Hema brush cleanser, really curious to see what it will do and if it can keep up with this.

Maybelline Waterproof make up remover
My bottle number 'I don't remember'. Good stuff. The Nivea make up remover that Lisa recommended burns my eyes and somehow it doesn't mix well when you shake it.

Manhattan Endless Stay Make Up in Porcelain
Already have the second tube. This is a great foundation for women with a mixed skin and little time. I need waterproof mascara, the best concealer and a good long-lasting foundation. This does the job and won't kill your wallet.

Rituals Shower Foam Rice Milk and Cherry Blossom
This is like shaving your whole body without a razor. Seriously, the most luxurious shower sensation. Good for Rituals that they have come out with new scents. I will be checking those out.

Burts Bees Rose tinted Lip balm
This is the perfect 'mylipsbutbetter' color. I wonder if they changed the formula or if my back up went bad. I hope for me it is not the latter. My back up I only used twice and just couldn't cope with the smell.

Aloe Lips from Forever Living
Using this since years and am currently finishing up the last one of my stock. Time to move on.

L'occitane almond hand creme
Yes, I love almonds! I love this range from L'occitane. Still, this isn't coming close to Eubos and the price makes me not want to buy it again. €7 for such a tiny, not so amazing, hand creme. I use way too much to spend that money on something that doesn't take care of my dry hands. It is a great travel companion, but won't heal my dry hands.

Dusch Das Golden Cashmere Deo Roll On
A staple in my collection of anti smelly products. The scent is warm and clean. A great recommendation from Mira.

Before my drawer is about to pop, I'll post another Beauty Bin for you!
It feels somehow weird to collect garbage, but it's all for the BB posts.

Andrelon Oil and Care Conditioner
The best conditioner in the Dutch drugstores. I have emptied quite a lot of them, but I won't feature them over and over. You'll be seeing a lot of the same stuff then.

Andrelon Oil and Care 1 minute hair mask
Also the third tube that I finished. This range is really amazing and does wonders for my hair. The one minute is of course very appealing for mommies. Saving minutes wherever I can.

The Body Shop Banana Conditioner
An old friend of mine and keeps coming back to my bathroom closet and shower. Don't always like the scent, but again a great conditioner for slightly dry, frizzy hair.

Bebe More Melt away cleaning mouse
I collected about 3 of these, but only put one in this post. My skin is very sensitive and I am very hesitant to try out new stuff in order to prevent an allergic reaction. This whole new range from Bebe totally appealed to me and my skin approved of it. I wouldn't call it a mouse, it's more of thicker peeling gel. The peeling beads are very tiny and gentle on the skin.

Balea Ultra Sensitive Cleansing Milk
No need to tell you more about this, it's my best friend :)

Maybelline Waterproof Make Up Remover
Besides the one from Balea, I use this the most. It sweeps my Maybelline Rocket waterproof mascara away and is still affordable. No need to spend a lot of money on it because you'll need a lot of it.

Balea shower creme in mango pineapple
Love me some Balea, but these bottles are extremely hard to get anything out. I've tried all scents from this range and like this one the most. Too bad you need to squeeze until you look like a tomato.
Maybe DM can change the packaging. The product itself is great.

Balea soft oil body lotion
My skin always thanks me when this little friend has landed in my shopping basket. I've got all my friends and family using these. Couldn't live without. I like to try out different ones from time to time, but always have a back up from this one at hand. It is great all year round. In winter and summer. It gives your skin a super beautiful glow. I also used this for shows on my arms. Good smelly, moisturized and glowy during the whole show. A little disclaimer; I am not sponsored by Balea. It is just an amazing brand and I pay for it myself, will keep on doing so ;)

Bebe Brighten Up day creme
The second one already and still loving it. It makes my skin look super healthy, even in these dry air heating times where the skin is sometimes rebelling. My skin is soft like a baby's bottom.

Bioderma Sensibio/Crealine
Still loving these and will get me some back ups when I am in Paris next month.

L'Occitane Almond body milk
Here's a fancy product from my favorite skin care line of L'occitane. Too bad they discontinued my moisturizer from this range. I love almonds, to eat thema and anything almond scented. The lotion is divine. It is not for traveling, though, so I kept it in my bath room closet and lathered it on after each shower.

Sensodyne Tooth Paste Whitening and Normal 75 ML
A staple in my everyday routine. I do prefer the normal above the whitening. Whitening tooth pastes are not the best option when you have sensitive teeth and brush your teeth 4 times a day. It dries out the corners of my mouth.

MAC Studio Fix Powder NW20 15g
My powder foundation since years. Absolutely love it, have switched to NC20 though because it fits my current skin tone better. The coverage is amazing. You can use this on your own or for extra coverage to set the liquid foundation with.

De Tuinen Day and Night Cream Aloe Vera 50 ML
Contains green tea and 70% aloe vera concentrate. A great day and night cream for sensitive mixed skin. Gets absorbed by the skin really well and doesn't leave a sticky layer.

Balea Waterproof Eye Make Up remover 100ML
Great make up remover for waterproof make up. I have switched to Maybelline at the moment because my current mascara needs something stronger.

Kerastase Nutrive  Bain Satin Shampoo 250ML (normal slightly sensitized hair)
This shampoo smells like the typical green soap my grandmother had in her bathroom. You love or hate it. It cleans the hair thoroughly and the scalp a bit too much. I found it to dry out my scalp and that happened every time after I used this shampoo. Won't get it again.

Carol's Daughter Monoi Repairing Conditioner 250 ML
A great conditioner without paragons, petroleum, mineral oil or artificial colors. It is quite pricy, especially if you have long hair. The scent is amazing. The packaging is a disaster. It is super difficult to open when your hands are wet. I don't like twist caps at all.

Avene Eau Thermale 50 ML
This have been my savior during the super hot summer days. Swelling up like a balloon is no fun. I used this for cooling my body down. You can also use it after you've saved or after a sun burn. I just needed to cool down my inner oven which suffered a lot this summer.

Kryolan Skin Refreshing Spray 50 ML
Thanks to Kryolan I had more options to keep my cool. This skin refreshing spray is super great to wet pigments, or the aqua colors. If you want to get rid of the powdery finish of your make up, it makes it look more natural.

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Body Mist Sunblock SPF 45 141g
If there something I hate about summer, is to lather on the sunscreen. This is an amazing product. You don't need to use your hands anymore, you can just spray it on. The mist reminds me a lot of the Avene and Kryolan face mists. Super fine and very effective. Unfortunately it is only available in the USA. I will be stocking up on these babies next time I am in America.

Garnier Ambre Solaire Light and Silky Sunscreen SPF 30
Another great option for people that don't like to mess around with lotions. This one still needs some rubbing after spraying it on, but it is not super sticky and has a pleasant scent. Bought this one in the Netherlands.

L'Oreal Hydra Active 3 Make up Remover for dry and sensitive skin 20 ML
This is supposed to be a great dupe for the Bioderma Crealine/Sensibio. It can be cheaper than the Bioderma Sensibio if you don't buy the two pack in France. I always get my Sensibio when I am in Paris and get the double packs. L'Oreal did a great job with the Hydra Active 3, but I still prefer the Bioderma since this product will empty super fast. For traveling I would prefer L'Oreal, but I have been filling up traveling sized bottles with my Sensibio for years now. If you can't get your hands on the Sensibio, this is a good alternative with the same result. It's great for sensitive skin, doesn't irritate and get's rid of most of the make up (non waterproof) really well. I still always wash my face with a face wash after I've taken off the make up with the fluid and cotton pads.

It's time for another 'Beauty Bin'! I have been collecting some empty bottles for you to review. It feels a bit weird to collect 'garbage', but it shows a nice overview of what products that I have been using and I hope that I can provide some of you with useful information. In this BB I have only favorites, which means that they all will be repurchased at some time.

Balea Ultra Sensitive Cleansing Milk 200 ML
This is my morning routine. I take a euro sized amount in my hand and wash my face with cold water. A nice way to wake up! Also can be found in BB #2.

MAC Brush Cleanser 235 ML
A staple in my kit. I do use little travel sized spray bottles to not spill too much of the product. The cap often releases too much liquid and that can get messy. For a quick cleanse this is a great product.
When you want to deep clean your make up brushes, you can use baby shampoo or special brush cleansing soap.

Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Wild Ginger Keratin Intensive Treatment 150 ML
One of my favorite hair masks. If you don't like silicones, this might not be something for you. I find that it did wonders for my hair. It kept it soft and smooth. It is however, a very pricy hair mask.
If you want something similar for less money, get the Macadamia Oil Conditioner from Organix. You get double the product for a 4th of the price.

Eubos Sensitive Hand Creme 75 ML
Has and always will be my absolute favorite hand cream. A loyal companion for my hands since many years.

De Tuinen Aloe Vera Hydrating Body Milk 250 ML
This is my second favorite body lotion/milk. De Tuinen is a Dutch brand and can only be found in the Netherlands, if I am not mistaken. This is such a nice, cooling body lotion. Perfect for the summer. It leaves the skin really soft and hydrated and has a very subtle scent. The second bottle is already in use.

Cien (Lidl) Creme Shower Gel 300 ML
The home brand from the german supermarket Lidl. Absolutely amazing! Great scent and very moisturizing and super affordable!

Dove Go Fresh Granate Apple and Lemongrass mini deo spray 35 ML
Love the scent, but my whole bag smells like it now. Got to try it twice before it emptied in my bag and all my Fishermen's Friends tasted like Dove. It does smell better than it tastes. ;)

Maybelline Jade Water Proof Eye Make Up remover 125 ML
It did take care of my waterproof mascara without burning my eyes! Second bottle is already in use.

Bioderma Sebium Pore Refiner 30 ML
A great companion during summer. I used this as a skin moisteriser and primer in one. My foundation stayed in place and I didn't get super oily during the hot hours during the day. The scent is very fresh. I liked it. Second bottle already in use as well.

Sensodyne Toothepast 75 ML
Also featured in BB #2. My current favorite tooth paste!

Kryolan Eye Cream 15 ML
A very rich eye cream that is easy to apply. You don't have to drag on your eye. A little goes a long way. My eyes didn't get an allergic reaction, it didn't leave a burning sensation. For day time I find it a bit too rich. My waterproof mascara did resolve a bit during the day. I used it as a night. Love the packaging, it's very sturdy. For traveling I recommend you to take a little plastic container instead of the original bottle.

This was Beauty Bin #3. Thank you all for your waterproof make up remover recommendations!
I did use some olive oil from Sicily to remove my mascara with. It worked well, but I still prefer to cook with it. ;)

This is my second 'Beauty Bin' that is filled with beauty related products that have been used up over the last months. I do not use all these products up in one month. Some of these are over one year old. If I would use this in one month, then I would be smearing and showering non stop without sleeping ;)

More about the products after the picture.

My question to you; have you found a great waterproof make up remover that is affordable and gets rid of the strongest of waterproof mascaras? Please let me know in the comments!

Caudalie Huile Divine 15 ml Travel Size
This oil can be used for body, face and hair. I have only used this for my body. It's bigger brother is standing in my closet and is actually a spray. The travel size is just a glass bottle without the spray top. Like this it is more difficult to spread the oil and you will most likely waste some of it too, if you are a bit clumsy like me. For traveling it is not the best because of the glass bottle. Therefor I will not refill it and will use a plastic container instead.

Korres Guava Body Butter 125 ml
One of the best smelling body creams out there. I wouldn't call it a body butter because it is light like a body lotion and nothing like the Bodyshop body butters. I used it mainly for my arms and hands before bed time. I find the scent really calming and perfect before falling asleep. During my review on Korres Guava products, I wrote that it wasn't available in Germany anymore. Well, I found them again in Mueller and already got myself a back up.

Balea Soft Oil Balm 200 ml
Still the perfect body lotion for me. I keep on repurchasing this until they stop making it. It contains 40% oil, so it is really oily. It doesn't make the skin sticky like so many body lotions. A great pro is that it leaves your legs nice and shiny. Perfect for summer legs.

Alverde Shower Gel 'Vanilla Manderin' 250 ml
This smells like lemon cheese cake. It does the job, it's vegan and good for the skin. It cleanses gently, but doesn't really hydrate the skin so well. You would still need to apply a body lotion afterwards.

Korres Guava Shower Gel 250 ml
Since I got so hooked on the scent of guava, I decided to also get the shower gel. I've used it up, it does the job, but is nothing really special. I won't be buying this again because it is way too pricy compared to other cheaper shower gels that do a much better job.

Balea Med Ultra Sensitve Cleansing Milk 200 ml
This I use every morning to gently cleanse my face. It is extremely mild and perfect for my sensitive face. Too many times have I gotten rashes from face wash products. This one is safe to use and has been my nr. 1 since many years.

Bioderma Crealine H20 Make up remover for sensitive skin 500 ml
This has to be the most hyped make up remover in the beauty scene. Many professional make up artists swear by this products, so all the other beauty fanatics run to the shop to get it as well. So did I. This has to be my 8th bottle so far. I use this to take off the make up on my face before I use a face wash. It doesn't take off waterproof mascara unfortunately. I haven't gotten any rashes from this product so I am sticking to it. At the moment I am testing a cheaper alternative from the drug store. Will report back once I've used to for a while.

Rexona Women Deo roller 'Shower Fresh' 50 ml
Smells lovely and does the job. I am trying out different deodorants without aluminum.

P2 Base + Care Coat 10 ml
My base coat for as long as I can remember. Totally affordable and can also be used for a neutral nail if you apply two coats. It dries fast and makes the nail polish last without staining your nails.

Aveo Nail polishr remover 'Berry' without acetone
It dries out my nails and has an excruciating scent. Will not buy this again.
Ebelin makes better nail polishes without acetone that don't dry out my nail or nose and brain for that matter.

Clinique Line Smoothing Concealer '02 Light' 8g
A great concealer that has lasted me years. Now it is time to throw it out because the formula has dried out and it is getting old.

Korres Guava Lip Butter 6g
This was standing at my night desk for quite some time. I never used it during the day because it a white lip butter and also not suitable as a base for lipsticks. The scent is lovely, but I prefer to use other lip care products that are easier to use.

Kryolan Hydro Oil Make Up Remover 300 ml
A great product to take off waterproof mascara. It lasts a long time and does the job pretty well. I still haven't found a make up remover that really takes off that nasty waterproof mascara that lasts for 75 hours.

Dove 'Invisable Dry' deo spray 250 ml
Another deodorant that contains aluminum chlorohydrate. It does the job, but is not the healthiest option for your body. I prefer rollers because they don't suffocate me. Rollers have the disadvantage that it takes forever to dry.

Andrelon 'Oil & Care' intensive conditioner 300 ml
A great drugstore conditioner for slightly dry hair that doesn't wear the hair down. It is affordable and you get a lot of product.

Kerastase Elixir Ultime Shampoo for all hair types 250 ml
The scent got to me, but the oil in the shampoo makes my hair get greasy really fast. There are better shampoos out there that are less pricey.

GHD Heat Protectant Spray 120 ml
I have used this all the time before I would curl my hair. Smells divine and has a great 'spray'. It distributes the product nice and evenly and doesn't leave wet patches in the hair.

Rituals 'Brilliant Bliss' Indian Rose & Shikakai shampoo 70 ml
A great shampoo to travel with. My scalp had to get used to it, but my hair loved it. Super shiny and silky soft. The scent is also amazing! I might get the full size one day.

Carols Daughter Monoi Reparing Hair Mask 200g
A souvenir from my last tour in the US. Absolutely amazing hair mask. It doesn't contain parabens, petroleum, mineral oils or artificial colors. The scent is really strong, you have to like it because it wears like a perfume. The boys in my band loved it and I even had to buy it for one of our crew guys. This seams to be a scent that guys like as well.

Hi Sweets,

After saving up lots of used up packaging I am ready to present my first 'Beauty Bin', also known as 'Empties'. I will give a little review per item going clockwise.

Let me know if you have any experiences with these products and which ones you keep on repurchasing like me. Hope you enjoy!

Have a lovely evening!
Nivea Creme Peeling
Does it's job. Scent is not overly powerful which is good. I always use a shower gel after. This peeling doesn't interfere with the scent of other shower gels which is good. Every skin needs a good peeling once a week, depending on your skin type. I like to peel once a week or more whenever my skin feels like some polishing. Too much is not good because it can irritate your skin.

Redken Fresh Curls Shampoo
The scent of this product is just to die for! Even though I don't have real curly hair, mine is half wavy half straight, I still enjoy this product. It cleans the hair in a gentle way and leaves it bouncy and feeling super fresh. It feels light and make your hair lie on the top of your head like your hair ways 10 kg. I have heavy hair and it tends to get a bit flat. The coconut oil gives the hair a beautiful shine. This shampoo is concentrated. A little goes a long way.

Sensodyne Pro Smelz Tooth paste
I brush my teeth every time after I've eaten something. This is just great tooth paste that is not aggressive and good for my sensitive teeth. Many other tooth pastes make the corners of my mouth dry and crack. The flavor is slightly minty but also kind of salty. It doesn't leave little mint bombs in your mouth that blows people away, but leaves it fresh and clean.

Balea Waterproof Make Up Remover
This is probably the 9th bottle that I've bought in the past. It contains half out of water, half oil. Shake it up before you use it so that the water and oil mix. It is great for my super skin around my eyes. I guess it says enough that I keep on buying it. The quality and price are amazing. Need to get a new one soon.

Bebe Quick and Clean Wash gel- Eye Make Up Remover for Normal/Mixed Skin
First I need to say that I have an extremely sensitive mixed skin, which doesn't make it easy for many products to work on my skin. This I used up, but wasn't such a big fan of it. It left my face way too clean, making cartoony like squeaky sounds. A bit too aggressive for sensitive/ mixed skin. Still, it does take of the make up, but I could not wait to put on my face cream right after using this.

Dove Go Fresh Shower Gel 'Grapefruit Lemongrass'
A super fresh scented shower gel with micro pearls that gently exfoliate the skin. I am a huge fan from all the Dove shower gels. I've tried almost all their shower gels. I am not the biggest fan of lemon scented beauty products, but this one works well with my nose. I even have the body spray which I like to use for my bunk in the tour bus to make it nice and good smelly.

Balea Young Mango Vanilla Shower Gel
Great scent that is not too sweet and leaves my skin super soft. Only downside is the bottle. I had to perform aqua earobics to squeeze something out of this bottle. You need muscles to get something out.

Rival de Loop Clean & Care Waterproof Make Up Remover
When I used this the first times it felt a bit uncomfortable around the eyes. Because of the travel size I decided to give it another go and take it with me on tour. By the second time around, my eyes got used to it and it does it's job ok. It is not as oily as the Balea waterproof make up remover, which I prefer.

Balea Shaving Foam with Aloe Vero for sensitive skin
This is also my 3th or 4th bottle. It comes out directly as a foam and not a gel that develops into a foam. Balea is one of my favorite drugstore brands which can be found at the german 'DM' shops. It is perfect for my legs, which tend to get a bit dry. The scent is not too strong. Definitely will be repurchasing this one again. It is affordable and last a long time.

Elkos Nail Polish Remover (EDEKA brand)
There was a time where I always forgot to bring nail polish remover on tour with me. This one I bought at a german supermarket. It doesn't contain acetone and takes the nail polish off like any other. It stinks just much as all the other nail polish removers. Some add a scent, but the core scent is nasty.

Kryolan Day Cream
Also my second container, given to me by KRYOLAN. For my sensitive mixed skin it hydrates really well. I used this as a day and night cream. The jar is very heavy because it is made out of metal, but the good things is that the light can't break down the formula and therefore the cream won't lose it's effect. Downside is that it is too heavy for traveling. Luckily you can buy little plastic containers for traveling. I am currently testing their eye cream and I am really loving it. So far no allergic reaction, which is very good.

Kerastase Elixir K Ultime Oleo Complex Hair Mask
The Elixir Ultime oil is known in the blogger sphere and quite loved. When I saw the hair care line from this oil, I knew I had to try it. The scent got to me and I just had to test it. After finishing this bottle I came to the conclusion that I won't buy it again. It is not the best hair mask (I used it with a shampoo from the same line), and the shine in the hair is created by little gold sparkles in the mask. After a while the scent also became a bit too overpowering, but that might just be me being pregnant.  I am currently using the 'Carol's Daughter Monoi Oil Repairing Hair Mask' which does wonders for my hair. That one will be featured in 'Beauty Bin #2' since I am almost running out.
